How to create chart of accounts/any new dimension member in shared library

 Hi,

In this Page we are going to see  how to Manage the Metadata in EPMA or updating the new dimension members 

1  . Logon to the workspace

URL:   http://server:19000/workspace/index.jsp

2. Select Navigate ->Administer->Dimension Library

3. Select Account dimension under shared library and right click on that respective hierarchy/ Default Parent of that new adding member

In the below screenshot I selected ACC_INC as a Default parent where I am going to add a new  child member by clicking the mouse right

If we want to add it as a sibling for that Default parent select Create Member as Sibling

If we want to add it as a Child for that Default parent select Create Member as Child

Once we selected we can see a prompt window to create the new member name as shown below

Once the name has given say OK after that  we should deploy all the application’s to update those dimension member’s for every application.

To Deploy the application select the Application Library

Right click on the application and say right click we can see Deploy option

Note :  We should deploy only the application ,we should not select Rules or All if we select Rules/All it will erase the complete Rule file.

After selecting Application

Click on the Navigate to Library Job console prompt window to see the status of Deployment of that application.
